Hi there, and welcome to my journal. My name is Rachana. I'm a sophomore at James Madison University, though will soon be done with this year, and therefore halfway done with my time at JMU. And truly, that freaks me out just a little. But anyway. I'm majoring in Media Arts and Design (journalism, in a nutshell), and double minoring in French and creative writing. For the 8 months that I'm away from NoVA here at JMU (and not stressing out about exams....ha), I love every bit of it here. The food is good, I have a wonderful boyfriend, and my friends here are the greatest (especially since we have the best dorm ever <3 Chappies). I've met fabulous people in the short two years that I've been here, and my friends from home fall into the same level of greatness, except I've known them for much, much longer. So basically my friends=my life, and I don't know what I would do without them. Well, I would probably be bored a lot more than I am now.
My journal updates tend to be a bit sporadic, which I suppose partially describes how I am. Generally speaking, I'm a pretty happy, extroverted person who likes to speak her mind, and is not afraid of having fun as much as possible or getting angry when it's necessary. I love sleep, food, writing, a good game of mario kart, cuddling, and having a good book to read. Also, I'm the biggest procrastinator ever, yet a huge overachiever (that's what Fairfax County will do to you). I guess that more or less dictates why I freak out about school. But, I can live with it, and getting things done ahead of time is boring ;)
